Best champagne to drink tomorrow night?

The GF and I are spending the night in tomorrow and she requested I pick up champagne. She is pretty picky when it comes to alcohol though... anything that "burns the back of her throat" (read: anything that's not completely saturated with sweet fruit tasting shit) she won't drink more than a few sips of. I've heard that Asti is pretty decent and should be easy to drink (yes, I know it's sparkling wine, but whatever). Anybody else have any other suggestions?

andre is the KING of cheap champagne! like $3/bottle, that shit is where it's at. j roget is nice too! cheap champagne for the win!

last year my friend in DC got a 1986 bottle of cristal at an auction (for $40) and we had that at new years. that shit was the shit!
