The NY Times article was intended to ignite a firestorm among careful shoppers on the Internet, with all of us propagating their message and swearing never to go back to Best Buy! We are the very "devils" they intended to purge, and our rants and raves help them achieve their desired effect of alienating us!

Our best strategy is dispassionately to buy from them when full use of all their policies yields the best deal and go elsewhere when someone else has a better deal. Simple.

A Hot Deal is a Hot Deal. BB Could personally call me out and say I am an asshole or a fvcktard or something. I don't care, if they have a good deal on something I'll still buy it.
 
Can't wait till the local stores shoo me out... EVERYONE I know will know about it. That includes them instituting a 15% restocking fee as threatened in the article. Won't shop there anymore, even if they are the best deal. Down with Worst Buy!!!
 
I think it's the right forum! Best Buy was specifically addressing the kind of careful shopping that is the main focus of *this forum*.

I've already used the gamer card coupon a couple times this year in conjunction with a pricematch.
