Best interface and add-ons = Firefox
Fastest browsing Speeds = Chrome
IE = Teh Sh!zn!t! Stay away from it
Why is IE so bad? If you're thinking of saying "security" you might want to think again. Secunia has logged 67 vulnerabilities for IE9 in 2012, compared to far more than that for Firefox (I stopped counting once the sum was greater than 67).
Mozilla also doesn't bother patching anything but the latest version of Firefox. Not sure about you but I'd rather not have Facebook integrated into my browser, especially given their recent account information sales snafu.
I was reading something the other day talking about the most exploited products. Java took 56% of the list, followed by Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader. That tells me that it isn't so much about which browser you use these days but how secure its configuration is. Which is why I only have one plug-in installed and NoScript 🙂To the OP, I personally use Chrome on my systems, with IE as my go-to fallback. All three will do well for browsing (there are very few sites that break any more, and if they do, I'd say blame the site dev for breaking things).
With all the allegations of Google spying on, tracking, and saving data on users in various Google programs, Chrome would be my last pick.
If you have Windows 7-8 then IE10 is very fast, if you have 64bit then IE or Opera might by your only real choices.

- edit - I just read the secunia browser comparison, it looks like MS have improved somewhat. Have you seen the amount of Chrome vulnerabilities when you criticised Firefox? I thought Firefox's was high but Chrome's knocks it out the park! If you're going to argue on this point then you should be recommending Opera, according to these stats.
If you're insinuating that Chrome secretly spies on its users, there are no such allegations. Chromes privacy policy is pretty clear on if, what, and when data is sent.
Anything that can even be considered privacy intrusive in Chrome is either opt-in or can be opted out of in the privacy settings.
i agree with this and always go with firefox for this reasonI prefer firefox, I like their model, open source and all. It may not be the "fastest" browser but it has my favorite extensions and I don't quite trust google.
Admittedly I think Google Chrome is probably innocent of anything non-consensual and privacy invasive, unlike the rest of Google 🙂
lol
chrome is Google
Google is the company driving around in cars snooping people's wifi...
that doesn't happen without intentional human action.
but hey, when that same corporate structure builds a browser it should be trusted implicitly... riiiiiiiight.
The wifi capturing was explained and anyone with an unencrypted wireless network should have no expectation of privacy anyway.
