I have to say I like almost every band here except for like 2 or 3

I want to toss in another name

OZZY OZBOURNE (Sp?)

Definitely a younger crowd here, although it's all just our personal opinions. But I have to second (or third or fourth or whatever it is now) the Beatles. How can you not include them as the best band of all time, even if you don't care for the sound. Other bigges would include the Who, the Stones and U2. But for pure jamming purposes you can't beat groups like the Allman Bros. or Santana and his band back in the late 70s.

It's a personal taste poll. What they did for a genre or music itself has nothing to do with it. What only matters is what they do for you. I would never have included Sublime as a best band of all time, but they are my favorite band of recent times.

What was the point of saying Blink blows? So you don't like them. I think Staind blows. However, I don't feel it necessary to post a comment saying how I hate a band everytime someone mentions one they do like (although I just did it).

 
Korn used to be good. I'm thankful to god noones mentioned limp bizkit.

Two of the most innovative and creative bands of the 90's. As for old school, how bout:

Just a few that I didn't see mentioned that I thought were good in there time too.

I second the motion! Best band of the 90's without a doubt, and easily my favorite of any I've been exposed to.

TOOL. Original, unapologetic, unforgiving. They get almost no mass media support and still manage to have the #1 album in the country for several weeks. They also manage to sell out every single show in minutes.

My vote is definitely with TOOL.
