so true, i realized half of the posts here belong to me. most anime watchers here seem to like naruto, FMA, GITS, champloo - all action. it just so happens i am not too particularly fond of action genre; some fight scenes in eva (like eps6) or Syura no Toki were awesome.. but an anime dedicated just to fighting scenes is bleh... seen to much of it in my childhood with shows like mazinger z or gatchaman being aired on tv everyday.

k so i was right in thinkinmg they were the same person

its not just me tho, she is one of the most popular seiyuus at the moment. try kannazuki no miko just to see how different she sounds in that...

Yea I agree sometimes watching too much of one genre is just boring. I tend to go for the comedies and premises in which I haven't seen before (artwork as well). Though I've become more picky over the years now. I don't watch everything now, I pick and choose and I rarely watch all the eps in a series. Hopefully I can find some that suit my tastes among your list. Time to look those up.

heh watching 105 I was surprised with that 'light' sabre (edit: I do realize that was the 2nd hokage's sword) that dude had must've missed the beginning of that arc.

haha no just kidding, she was running towards them and it looked like she'd be caught in the middle of their "special" attacks, it was nice to see the two fighting again though

I'm starting to get hooked on Bleach. The first ep was soso..but after that it gets better..pity there are only 5 eps...
Naruto is starting to get good now that they are back to the manga story line
Gundam Seed Destiny has potential..but it's too early to tell

That's about all I have time to watch...

if you can, try to look for "Onna no ko Otoko no ko". i actually like this song somewhat

Futakoi seems to be a cut above dumbed down harem shows. nice drawing, good character development and
subtle sense of humor - another quality show made by ufotable.

after all the main heroine appears to be kaoruko with horie yui is doing her voice...

which arc did you like the best from shura no toki? i liked the first one with miyamoto musashi (well in reality he wasnt the beast that was portrayed in that anime, manga vagabond or yoshikawa eiji's novel for that matter, but anyway)
Mai Hime just keeps on getting better and better. while character design really isnt my type, the level of background detail (street signs, buildings, etc) in eps7 was very nice

yep catchy it is i got the music video for it, but dont have a place to host it as its well over 100mb limit comcast imposes (~133mb)
there are two other songs i like from the series :
Tsukamoto Tenma - Sutekina Koi
Tsukamoto Yakumo - Yuugao

Tenma is scary.. she can kick harima's butt, knock him out with a hypersonic pitch and jump out of the window from the second floor...

i love how they try to be creative with the "sit away from the screen when you watch TV" message. eps4 message where Tenma get up close to the tv cheering Mangoku was hillarious

i heard lunar stopped fansubbing uta-kata, but triad might pick it up.. i really hope they do, this is easily one of best animes i have seen.

great suspense and atmosphere
gorgeous music and Gotoh Keiji artwork
all-star CV lineup, best OP/ED out of all october series IMO
just enough fan service and TONS of moe

narration is working really well here; they dont give away everything at once, just enough to get you curious about whats going on... also it adds to this 'past experience' sort of atmosphere. there really isnt anything i could be critical about the show, just cant explain how much i adore it
