Besides murder and theft what one law, if abolished, would cause total havoc?

I think legalizing illegal drugs would start causing the most chaos. What do you guys say?

I dont do them myself, but depends on the drug, some would be fine to legalise. And for the speed limit, the autobon in germany has no speed limits and very little crashes as well.

I think America has less civilized people on the road that Germany.

As well as far less driver education and less qualifications to obtain a drivers license.

Illegal drugs? WTF!?

How about traffic laws? I've been to countries where they don't observe traffic laws and it's totally insane.

I disagree. Drugs were not even made illegal until the 1920's-1930's and the country got along just fine.

Yep. Actually, legalizing drug would reduce crime, as the undrground markets run by gangs would suddenly disappear.

Just a thought, but the cost of drugs would also likely drop, therefore further reducing crimes committed to obtain money to buy drugs.

Gay marrage... If we let consenting adults marry anyone they want, the country will collapse.
Rev. Haggard had 3 years of speed fulled sex with a male prostitute, buit thank god he didn't try to marry him.

Why?

Could you imagine living in a world with druggies everywhere? At least now that it's illegal, they keep to themselves for the most part and they do it within privacy because it is illegal and they do not want to get caught. I certainly don't want to live in a society where people are drugged up and high can roam freely without consequence.

Think of it this way. what law do you abide only because of fear of getting caught. I mean most laws go long with morals and ethics. you don't steal or kill becasue its just plain wrong not only because its ileagal. I really can't think of any law that would casue havoc if it were abolished. People do drugs anyway, people speed and break traffic laws anyway. And if it weren't ileagal, I doubt people who don't do it now would do then.
