President assassinates foreign military commander raising the threat of world war, and does so illegally, and without imminent, after having lied that such a threat exists. Be nice because threats and acts of real violence can only come from our President, a criminal, who the Republican Party will protect from any consequence, except maybe the death of millions and millions of people. But that won't happen to me because, worst case, I'm going to heaven.

Maybe, although I respect the fact that when he read up on O'Keefe he took it back and said he would wait for more information. That's not something everyone would do and it's a big positive in my book.

Seriously, some conservatives seem to be rather frothy with their opinions yet these opinions seem to be based on the tripe peddled by Hannity and Fox, Breitbart, Rush and the like and on nothing else. And it seems to take an avalanche of facts to get an acknowledgement that "MAYBE" there's something askew or amiss.

At this point in time, why would anyone who actively posts in a political fourm need to go find out about O'Keefe unless one was either lying or being willfully intellectually ignorant, a Know-Nothing.

He's not saying that. It's that you should constantly be seeking knowledge and verification from trustworthy sources, and if you don't know the answer, find it. Don't attack someone for presenting information you weren't aware of.

One of the greatest problems in the Trump era is that there's a legion of people who simply wait for info to fall into their laps and don't really wonder if there's more to the story than they were told. Project Veritas in particular counts on this by manipulating video and fostering outright false stories.

This is all well and good, but the thing is, you probably still believe a lot of his famously-faked scandals that were nothing but lies. They only ever were lies, and they still are. Even if you didn't know he was the source, I bet you still argue his lies as some sort of truth regarding the evil that democrats do. Here are two big gems:

--Acorn supposedly approving grant money for a pimp and his ho (that was O'Keefe and an actress in costume--and that was a big scandal. you probably remember it. O'Keefe never wanted to reveal that the Acorn staffer that interviewed him actually called the cops on him and his friend, on the assumption that he was a pimp.)

--PP selling baby parts to a "baby part distributor" over some meeting in a diner. Another fake video that you probably believe to have happened.

Well, in my defense, I didn't know reading was being gifted, but it seems to be something you are quite unfamiliar with and wrongly attribute to being gifted. I simply call it being informed by reading, nothing more. You're the one who seems to have a problem with doing any reading/research on a topic before raging, but that's you.
