Hillary Clinton, in a sit-down interview with Fox News, suggested Tuesday that she had doubts from the outset about whether the Benghazi terror attack was triggered by a protest over an anti-Islam film

Its incredibly entertaining to watch people use a captured terrorist who is lower than gutter slime and take him at his word. Whether he is lying or not really doesn't matter. Its the fact that some are willing to accept what he says as vindication of the current administration's previous actions.

Exactly. It's obvious he's lying. He knows that we True Conservatives are the Real Americans. If you listen to the REAL news, it will tell you! Listen close to what Hannity, Rush, and Coltier say -- THIS is the true face of REAL Americans!

THIS man represents none of our values!

If there was some way to conduct a national poll and pick a winner based on it, you'd see! This hero right here would be our leader! Obummer? Don't make me laugh!

So if a foreigner wants to hurt America, of course he's going to agree with the Kenyan to contradict what We the People believe! We are in a fight against this illegal dictatorship, so to hurt the cause of our overwhelming majority movement they're of course going to support our minority opponents!

Believe the terrorist? Ha! And liberals call US stupid and delusional?

Have to say, it gives me no small amount of pleasure to think that the likes of Darrel Issa and all the talking heads at Fox are even more butthurt over this Libyan ringleader pissing in their cheerios like that.

Now what are they going to use to maintain their narrative for their oatmeal-for-brains viewers? The "exploding" IRS thing? Heh.

2016 is bearing down on the GOP like an errant locomotive, I think it's going to be messy.

Do you know what he's actually said? Have you spoken to him or his buddies? I'm thinking not. You're accepting what the NYT reporting as 'truth', and we all know they are definitely on the up and up and not politically motivated at all

Is it time to empty your drool bucket yet?

Never said he was.

You implied that there was no reason to believe he was telling the truth but political expediency. The problem is it was considered a valid possibility by our analysts and it is supported by the claims of others who were on the scene when there's no reason for them to be supporting America by agreeing with the administration's initial tentative explanation.

Discounting the political religion of our angry, delusional, violent right-wing extremists is not "hurting America." Just as the freedoms of those in the Islamic world aren't served when their most ignorant grab some guns, group together, and overthrow their governments in favor of racist, misogynistic, Muslim ones; the freedoms of Americans aren't served by the support of ignorant, racist, misogynistic Christians.

You must be one of those other people I mentioned in my OP. This terrorist's words change nothing about what has transpired. They don't ad or subtract to the original claims that the attack was because of a video.

But go ahead, believe him and pretend that his word makes anything valid. I won't be surprised.

Al Qaeda probably had nothing to do with 911 either
Maybe that's why we invaded Afghanistan

So you're willing to take this guy at his word? As if he has nothing to gain from people doing just that? Wow you are not very bright.

Again, I have no idea if he is or isn't telling the truth but I'm not about to take what he says and run with it either. This terrorist's word is pretty worthless given his predicament.

Okay so let's think this through logically. First off it's a ridiculous assertion to assume that the administration couldn't be coercing his statement it could be as simple as offering him some sort of deal. Secondly and far more importantly this is a man who is allegedly working again American interests. To assume that he would simply tell the truth instead of making a statement that furthers his goals is ridiculous. These people are not as stupid as some of us assume they are. He knows full well that the most disruptive thing he could say in this moment will be to confirm what the Democrats always said and deny want the Republicans always said that will only increase the level of divisiveness in this country as this post clearly shows.

go read the NYT piece instead of not reading the huffpo piece. the article states he told people on the scene in benghazi on 9/11/12 that it was about the video. what's being reported is not something that was said by this guy since his capture.

i mean, if we're going to think about this logically we should at the very least read the source article.

The amount of time and money wasted on this manufactured scandal by the GOP/Tea Party/Rightwing Media is quite infuriating, when you really think about it.

Come on people, the only real reason he said this was to distract everyone from Benghazi.

Soooo obvious.

The individual here is a derivative, not the function of Benghazi, I wouldn't give him more credit than he's already getting. We know the outcome at Benghazi was not due to the online video. It's not hard to deduct that this individual is being deceitful and or lying or being misrepresented.

This is not a conservatives vs liberal issue from what I'm aware of, left vs righty is distraction here. What did we know when did we know it was the debate, we know it was a pre-planned attack with terrorist elements involved and that the video provided some cover/confusion in the aftermath.

About the bolded exactly when did we know this? I mean its not real uncharacteristic for Extremists Muslims to get offended by videos and cartoons and act out violently because of them.

Why couldn't the attack been because of the video? What evidence do you present it wasn't about the video?

Thats my issue with all this Bullshit, Lack of evidence to the contrary requiring someone to believe something one way or the other, this belief is already going to be overshadowed by your personal bias.

Why is his distracting from Benghazi even a story? You're mentioning him distracting from Benghazi to distract from Benghazi, aren't you?
The REAL subject is Benghazi. Please stick to it, people.

Does it matter the motivation? Obama said it was cause of the video, he might be wrong, he might be right. Who said it was the anniversary of 9/11 for the reason? The media? Fox? Who cares. At most, the president was misinformed, this is such a waste of time and money.
