It'd be a bit surreal to have a Jew leading all these people flying Nazi & Confederate flags.

Its already ironic that the US has a Nazi problem.

People who have the worst of it as children , like all children, needed love but got little or none, and any attention is better than total abandonment so they create that attention in the negative. Betrayed by a system that is supposed to provide care for them they seek revenge through violence threat and intimidation. They will make sure others will now pay attention.
