With Carson and Trump in the lead, I find it amazing that the RNC haven't found a way to get rid of those two, or is it that the RNC actually thinks they can somehow control either if, by some miracle, they win in the primaries?

It truly must be a nightmare for those big moneyed interests that are backing the other candidates.

But the one guy I really feel for (not really) is Jeb, the (previously) Chosen One. Hillary must be laughing her ass of about Jeb being shoved aside like that. As well, I think she can sympathize with him as she had her own nightmare come true with Obama.

Carson has got to have the slowest mouth or brain ever. I wonder if he's had to overcome some kind of speech impediment with the way he sloooooooowly enunciates his diction. I get frustrated just listening to him.

But that might actually work in his favor if he ever had to deal with Putin or Kim Jung ul. He'd win any argument with them just from them giving up trying to wait long enough for Carson to get his point across.

The RNC has lost control of the asylum and their most insane nuts, I mean candidates, are running it now. While I'm enjoying the mess they are making, it's damned scary that a country with the power we have is even considering any of these any of these nutcases as potential leaders.

I can see why Donald Trump is so popular.
But Carson is more crazy than Trump.
At least I would trust Trump to do a few things right as president, and possess the ability to help the economy. But Carson?
I don't get it. I really don't.
If I didn't know better, I'd think Carson supporters are totally convinced a little smooth talking and a little prayer will solve all of America's problems.

I mean, what would Carson say as president when another natural disaster hit some area of the country and hundreds died?
President Carson: "Praise the Lord, more Christians going home".
WTF ????

This would probably be his single strong point.
I bet he'd be a good speaker about tragedy

He is literally a walking, talking example of it.

You know what? I'd just love to see Carson and Jesse Jackson have a go at each other.

It would be like:

Carson: Whuuuuuut doooooo youuuuuuu thiiiiiiiiinnnkkkkk aaaabbooooouuuuuut gaaaaaaayyyyyy riiiiiigggggttss???

Jackson:CanYouRepeatThatInEnglishOrGetRidOfThatSlurInYourSpeechPatternYouJiveAssSelfPrescribingDiazpamJunkie?!

Carson: Whuuuuuuu.......

Jackson: Don'tMindMeIJustAteLunchWhileYouWereSayingThatAndWipeThatDroolOffYourFaceYouDroopyEyedWannaBeApostle.

Lol...this guy is either a complete loon or just pandering to fundie voter's. Hasn't he wondered about the wisdom of placing dead bodies of kings where you store your food?

The more we learn about Ben Carson, the more evident it becomes that he is entirely unsuitable to serve as President.

The latest: His campaign has admitted he misstated having been offered a full scholarship to West Point (he never applied and was never offered one) - http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/201...ever-applied-west-point-campaign-says-n458731 This is on top of the revelation in the last week that he apparently lied about his troubled childhood, including claiming that he had tried to stab a friend and hit his mother with a hammer - http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/05/politics/ben-carson-2016-childhood-violence/ The whole thing is just bizarre.

The pyramids being built to store grain is a very plausible theory. I dont even see why anyone would be "offended" by such a theory. It's not like it is terribly radical or upsetting of too many applecarts. It is a theory rooted in praticality. Especially given that those structures were built in an era of alternating extreme abundance and mass starvation. The pyramidal structure is very strong, it can withstand heavy sieging and erosion. It makes a lot of sense to build such a structure to store one of most valuable commodities those civilizations had to offer.

Somebody posted a food pyramid for some silly reason. But it brings up a point that what we think we know is often plain wrong. The classical food pyramid is very wrong. Humans arent meant to be consuming mostly starches and other highly processed fast carbohydrates. Bread may have been around for thousands of years but for most of that time it was consumed along with lard heavy stews containing lots of animal fat and at least some meat. These starches are nearly identical to sugar in terms of matabolization and impact on the pancreas, liver, diabetes, and overall health decline. Humans should be getting the majority of their calories from animal fats and green fibrous vegetables, not starches.

Yeah it's a totally plausible theory except that the vast majority of the interior volume of the pyramids is solid rock, which just might prevent you from storing a lot of grain in them.

Almost Ben.

The pyramid's were built to store grain for the goa'uld.

They would land the ships on the pyramids, resupply with food and slaves, then take off.

I have more proof than you do for this. You have your old book, riddled with factual errors, I have pictures.

Except it doesn't make any sense to use a building like a pyramid to store grain. Not only are they solid, but there is that issue where they were built hundreds of years before the time Carson is talking about.

I cannot comprehend how that guy was actually a brain surgeon.

Is there really a record of him actually getting a medical degree?

You have heard of people absolutely brilliant in one area and completely ignorant in most others?

Thing is its written hieroglyphs why they were built, sure there could be another reason but all rational evidence supports they were tombs for the God Kings of Egypt. His belief is based upon a silly religious belief similar to Mormons magic underwear. I think Mormons are great people but many of their beliefs are silly to me. While Carson is not a Mormon he has some pretty silly beliefs and our society has become afraid to call out silly belief recently.
