I have had OM honor rebates that were delayed due to back order.
When the item arrives, I get a signed statement when the unit was delivered and then mail the rebate after getting a PO stamp receipt.

Letter stating the back order problem has been included with the rebate paperwork.

if u ordered w/ fillers and it shows up as CBO for you, you might as well cancel your order. OfficeMax hardly ever fulfills price mistakes after they're outta stock. and the worse thing is when they won't cancel your entire order, but just remove that item from your order making you drive back to a local OfficeMax to return the fillers (if you don't want to keep them).
