I brew my own. Currently enjoying the last of a 80 Schilling Scottish Ale. Just bottled a Lemon Wheat last Monday, & brewed a Kolsch yesterday. It is fermenting away like crazy!
Monday I will brew an Orange Blossom Cream Ale.
Takes about 6 weeks start to finish to be able to enjoy.
1 week in primary, 2 weeks in secondary, 2-3 weeks bottle conditioning. If I had a kegging system in place, I could eliminate the 3 week bottle conditioning.
This should take care of my summer beer supply. 6 cases of awesome home brew.

Well I keg my beers so it tends to go quickly, brewed over 100GL in my first year. Making another two batches this weekend, a hoppy red ale and an oatmeal stout.

Time to start the AT Homebrew group?

I'm just now switching to kegging myself. I have my kegs, but not my cooling method. Waiting to find the right 7 cu ft chest freezer to turn into a keezer.

I have not made many flavored beers like the Orange Blossom Cream you are making. Are you putting your flavorings into the secondary or are you boiling them?

There are a ton of us here. Probably close to enough to dedicate a entire thread to homebrewing.

Probably a good idea. I use homewbrewtalks as well, but sometimes it's fun to combine hobbies.

I'll have to post my completed keezer once I get to building it!

and now you bastards will make me want to get into it. I SHALL STAY STRONG!

I am lucky to have a few friends who brew and regularly share. One of my mtn biking buddies makes a mean IPA that kills me every time. I split brewing costs and help out to get in on it.

From the store, my current favorites are:
Modus Hoperandi
Great Divide Titan IPA
New Belgium Ranger IPA
Dale's Pale Ale

And I always will love a bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale...the beer that originally gave me the love of hops.

Goose Island 312 was always my "go to beer" back when I was drinking more often.

Nowadays, I drink maybe 1 or 2 beers a week, I do not think I have had 2 of the same beers in the last couple of months.

Maybe Saison DuPont could be considered my "go to" as of late... since I have ordered that at a restaurant three times this year.

I can always find a Lagunitas, Bear Republic, Dogfish Head, Stone, North Coast Rasputin in my fridge as my shitkicker beer....mostly higher alcohol IPAs/DIPAs as I like to get my buzz on early.

Have you ever had Pliney the Elder? If you like DFH 90 minute then you'll really love Pliney. I think it is the best balanced DIPA out there and they use a lot of the same hops as DFH does. The Stone Enjoy By series is also fantastic, much better on tap vs bottle. It's like a mouthful of hops without the mouth-puckering bitterness.

Sadly, I'm not a big fan of Pliney. I had it out in SF last year and I just didn't like it. Give me a Apocalypse Cow any day.

I love how popular craft beer is becoming here; it's awesome to see.

I like to mix it up.

My favorite beer is Belgian tripels (insert name here; i've tried and liked pretty much all of the ones i can get here).

But i mix it up as much as possible and like trying new stuff.

My latest kick is stuff by De Molen.

Absolutely love their Mooi & Meedogenloos, and Blikken & Blozen

I don't get to drink much, long story. But tonight is a rare occasion. I don't have much of a selection is this little piece of paradise I live in(your sarcasm meter should be pegged) I half deep into a 12 pack of Third Shift. Certainly not great but for $12 I can't complain to much.

Hell yes. AND it's canned.

Drinking this tonight.
