it's hot. give me a kolsch. been sucking down local brewery st. arnold weedwacker (which is mislabeled as a hefeweizen on beer advocate)

That beer is delicious, the only thing different between that and Lawnmower is the yeast used. Lawnmower uses a kolsch yeast, and Weedwacker uses a german hefe yeast. Otherwise the recipe is identical. So it's not really mislabeled.

I thought about doing home brew. i just don't think i would drink enough to justify it.

Well I keg my beers so it tends to go quickly, brewed over 100GL in my first year. Making another two batches this weekend, a hoppy red ale and an oatmeal stout.

Great to see another home brewer. Already formulating my fall beer recipes. Going for a Dunkelweiss, Nut Brown, & Tripel.

My all time favorite to brew is a California Common(Steam Beer)

there are a few here that do it.
I would love to. but considering i drink maybe a 12 pack a month i don't think it would be worth it.

Well, I'm not drinking it right now (too early) but last night... homebrew! It is a SMASH (Single malt and single hop) pale ale made of plain US two-row and Centennial hops. Turned out nicely!

Nice, I generally always have a honey ale, IPA/double IPA, red ale, and a stout on tap. Then I did some different seasonals throughout the year, Agave Witbier, fake oktoberfest(was an ale), spiced ale, a RIS, and a few kolsches here and there.

Sam Adams Cream Stout or Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

Shock Top's IPA is pretty good too, but not a go-to for me.

don't really have a go to beer, but recently drinking a lot of lagunitas - usually their IPA/maximus/hop stoopid, but also like some of their other beers - their undercover investigation shut down ale is waaay too easy drinking for 9+% alcohol.

I'm sitting on a patio drinking MGD at the moment; my wife thinks I'm grocery shopping. It's not my go to beer, but it's cheap at this sports bar today. I usually fall back on Asahi Super Dry or Labatt Blue. I'm also growing fond of Samuel Adams.

Is this one of those threads where people brag about how they only drink beer made from hops harvested from the southern base of Mt. Everest and brewed with unicorn tears and rainbow juice?

This.

I'm not that finnicky about beer. I can't stand Bud Light, Natty Ice crap, but I enjoy the taste of regular Bud- light and crisp.

Also a fan of Magic Hat, Harpoon, and Sam Adams.

Costco has a Summer Pack made my Harpoon on sale right now for $15. Has 4 different summer brews. 2 of the 4 were excellent :)

I'm usually not a fan of fruity beer- Sam Adam's Summer Ale & Bluemoon's Honey Ale are WAY too sweet and can't drink a lot of them.

However Harpoon's Raspberry is a perfectly crafted concoction- beautiful aroma, but the actual taste is hardly sweet. Very very drinkable.

I don't drink beer anymore to get drunk. i drink because i enjoy the different types of beer.

Well then two Guiness and a Laphroaig as an after dinner drink should do nicely. :)

Same here BTW, well except for tequila nights but that only happens once ever five or so years.
