My system is faster than yours stock. And I paid less. So what do you know about anything? (yea go ahead and add another 6600gt. Mine will still be faster)
Thermaltake is ok.

Here's a new thread for you to munch on Insomniak,

Is there a reason you're blindly trolling?
Perhaps it never entered your mind to consider this:
I built this rig with two things in mind:
1) Dual core processors are coming out later this year, and they will be socket 939. Buying a high end single core now is a bad purchasing decision.
2) R520 and NV50 (or whatever Nvidia's competitor core will be) are right around the corner, buying a high end GPU right now is a bad purchasing decision.
However, the SLI board was probably the best buy this year. It opens my planned upgrade path to a dual core processor and SLI NV50 (Ultra, or whatever equivalent) perfectly.
Apparently you've never heard of long term planning.
If you want to get into a big dick contest, I can give the address, you can come on over, and we can pull them out and get a ruler. I plan to keep this GPU and CPU for 8 - 12 months, tops, which is why I chose not to spend a lot of money on them.
And Thermaltake is still mediocre at best.
The interesting part about this is with my decision to go with a Winchester core, I may have the road open all the way to 2.6Ghz, which is roughly equivalent to a 4200+. I may not need to go dual core for a couple of years. I could just upgrade the GPU.
You, on the other hand, appear to have handicapped yourself there with a Newcastle core - if you want more performance, you're going to have to pay for it. Your system is also AGP based, so your boned there as well. You're also on socket 754, so you really have no future except Semprons.
Bottom line is this: I built a base for the future, with a holdover processor and GPU until this motherboard can be properly utilized. Yes, moving up to newer technology costs more. Oh well. It costs twice as much to build a system with old tech, and then build a complete new one a year down the line, which is what you're going to have to do.
I would advise that you don't blindly flame if you don't know the intentions of the person(s) involved. I chose my components with great care after doing a large amount of research.
