Go to the freakin store and buy some. Sheets are sheets - the higher the threadcount, the better.
 
Costco has some nice ones - pima cotton and Egyptian cotton, TC in the 450 range I think. $60 for queen size.
 
get high thread count... you can find them anywhere from Target to Macy's. If you want a large variety, check out a store like Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens N Things.
We got 350 tc and they are not too bad, but not as nice as the 500 tc sheets...
higher the count, more expensive they will be

That's a load of crap. I have slept on a lot higher than 350 and they were awesome.

what makes you say that?

Because the fabric used to make such high TC are generally not that great. The fabric of the sheets are the most important aspect in determining what's a "quality" sheet.

That's a load of crap. I have slept on a lot higher than 350 and they were awesome.

It most likely had more to do with the fabric than the actual thread count. Probably Egyptian Cotton.

Depends what for. Trust me, once you sleep on >400 TC sheets, you won't want to go back. Having sex on 600 TC sheets is noticeably more pleasant, btw.

went for the 1000 threadcount egyptian cotton from Hotel Luxury. i figure i can afford it.
