3 F'ing points?!? I swear, if PSU goes undefeated and still gets left out of the NCG there will be REAL riots in Happy Valley!
I think Bama will fall to LSU. Even if they win, they still have to win the SEC Championship Game.
Texas Tech might lose to OU AND Okie St. Penn State is still looking good for the NCG, IMO.
I think it is very possible that a 1 loss Big12/SEC team gets in ahead of Penn State.
What possible merit could a 1 loss big12 team have to get in over an undefeated penn state?
The best non-conference win for the big12 was mizzou by 10 points over a disappointing illinois team. Not a single team in the big12 has a defense, which just makes half the teams in the conference look good by putting up 100 points a game. Do you really think there are 4 teams in the big12 that deserve to be in the top 10? I think it's a little more likely that they are all overrated.
I'm not saying it should happen, just that it is a possibility. If Alabama wins out, and Oklahoma wins out as well (with a little help from Texas Tech beating Oklahoma St. so that Oklahoma gets to the Big12 championship) it is possible that OU would pass Penn State.
Penn State is already behind 1 loss Texas in the computers. OU would have ended the season beating Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Missouri. In addition, they have already beaten current #11 TCU. This will give them a huge boost from the computers. A 1 loss OU is probably rated #2 by the computers, Texas #3, Penn State #4. In addition, Utah is within striking distance of Penn State in some of the computer polls. If Utah wins out, it is possible that they may pass Penn State in some of the computers since two of their last games are against #11 TCU and #17 BYU.
Under the previous scenario, it is possible that OU gets in ahead of Penn State if the human polls end Alabama #1, Penn State #2, OU #3.
