Ummmmm yes, this is true.

ASU is undefeated and located in the Pac-10. A top-tier conference if you havent figured that out yet.

ASU is gonna get far this year! I can't wait till the cal game in 2 weeks!

Oh and here is a little tidbit for all of you out there:
The Sun Devils have outscored their opponents 136-29 in the second half this year.

Its pretty obvious that USF and BC are not the #2&3 team in all the land. Anyone who thinks so its pretty ignorant. But Im all for it, shows what a load of BS the BCS is.

The SEC is showing once again, that it is the best conference in football though.

EDIT: Oh yeah and you are in the BIG EAST. Come back when you are in a stronger conference.

The thing there is the computers. And most, if not all, of the computer formulas are designed, built and tested to be used for a full 7 weeks. They always look odd in the first week of the BCS.

And for those that think the puters are full of shit... did you see Corso's pick for #2? Kansas. That's right people, Kansas. And you thought he was only goofy in the commercials. Heh, love the one where he's listening to hip hop while the other two play chess.

How can you complain about USF and not complain about Ohio State? It's clear when you compare what each team has done this year that USF has played better.

Comes down to preseason rankings. OSU was higher (much). Plus I think pollsters want more from a team out of nowhere. Frankly I think it's pretty cool that they are that high and they have the puters to thank for most of that.

Oh, and we have a nasty habit of upsetting OSU when they are ranked high in the polls.

I bet the riot police are looking forward to this game :D

As someone who works EMS and along with PD at PSU Football games I can say that it's going to be an interesting one both on and off the field. I'm pretty pumped for this game; if it were possible for PSU to beat OSU, it would be at home. So here's hoping! Going to be fantastic.

Thanks for the update! I'm glad Auburn stayed in the top 25. They deserve it after their hard fought loss to LSU last night. LSU 30 Auburn 24.

Glad Michigan is moving up. If they manage to win out, they might even be in the top 10.

If we run the conference (which I think is a realistic prospect, though I wouldn't put a lot of money on it), we'll definitely be in the top 10.

Glad to see my Badgers back in (one of) the top 25, too!

How many teams do you have? Your Wolverines and your Badgers?? Pick a team or get out of this thread! ;)

Anyway, I'm stoked to see my Oregon Ducks broke into the top 5. USC is next.

Hah, USC is not going anywhere pal. They'll flounder on the edge of the Top 10 and end up missing a BSC bowl game. Deal with it, they're fraudulent and supremely overrated this year.

I was actually meaning that USC is going down when Oregon hosts them next week. Thanks for the insight, though ;)

I disagree. #10 isn't bad for losing to an unranked team. I'm a huge USF fan/alum, but I think the #2 ranking was too high and too fast. I'm personally elated that they're a top 10 team. If they get back to playing strong (Coach Leavitt will use this past game as a motivator), they'll move higher. National Championship? Probably not, but they'll get to a good bowl this time. Plus, that'll only help with recruiting.

meh. Calling them and fraudulent isn't exactly fair, considering the entire team is raped with injuries. At least we pounded ND in the ass.
