Jello Biafra's "I have a Dream"

(Biafra and Nader got 3% in 2000)

His line item taxation would be amazing.

ok......never heard of that guy. I've heard of Nadar.

Nader is getting too old to help, the smears from the last campaign didn't help either, which is why the greens wouldn't touch him. :(
Rumor is Henry Rollins would take his place on the ticket as Jello's VP for the Greens.

Rollins has been in Afganistan a lot already playing for the guys out there.

I am sure even marines are damn happy to have him around, he's a badass, but yet one of the most level headed, smart and caring guys I can think of.

Both are full of new fresh ideas the dems or reps wouldnt touch for 300 years....

So Dan Quayle, Donald Trump and Rich Santorum walk into a bar, and the bartender immediately says, "This is the beginning of a REALLY bad joke."

I think that they should have Wesley Clark on the ticket. Lots of people view Democrats as weak on defense/security/etc. He would help counteract that.

That whole list is a joke, with exception of McCain. McCain would never be selected to run on a repub ticket. Most far right repubs don't care too much for his stances on issues.

On the Republican side I'd like to see McCain-Romney...although more likely McCain-Graham which would still get my vote. If the republicans go too far right then the dems need a moderate to get me to switch sides. Richardson is my top choice, he just takes a tone that wouldn't piss off the right and maybe we can actually get somethings done. Vilsack is similiar though not quite as good. Bayh is interesting but his star isn't as bright as it was 6 months ago.

Oh but the interesting stuff is in 2006. I hope (less than 5% chance) the Dems take back the house, leave the republicans with the senate. That'll give them enough power to present an agenda, and make the far right wingers think. Since the Republicans still have the senate, they can still approve the appointments rather than block them for ideological reasons. Of course its more likely that the dems take the senate which would divide the country further, or the republicans keep both which we have proven makes it too easy to get spending bills approved.

Here's an interesting dark horse to consider... he seems able to connect with rural and suburban voters well and to come across as honest when listening to their concerns:

Gov. Mark Warner (D)
