I love taking out choppers.... just give me a hmmv and I guarantee that chopper won't last long 🙂 by the time they realize where I'm at they are already smoking and going down hard.

As an update to progress with the delayed 1.4 patch, the patch has now passed initial re-testing but has yet to pass final approval before it is prepped for release. When this has happened the patch will be staged for release and we will let you all know. Once again we appologise for any frustration this delay is causing however it has occured to ensure the patch is as solid as possible.

Looks like it might be this week guys!

agreed. choppers are vulnerable enough, especially to HUMVEE machine gun mounts!

Jets are annoying, infantry have no way to take them down. Yes the only decent way to take them down is with other jets but with the J10 if you have a halfway decent pilot you'll almost never take him out. They are just too fast and maneuverable that the opposing pilot would basically have to let himself get hit by flying in a straight line or slowing down for you. As long as that jet is in full speed and banking sharply nothing but expertly-led cannon fire is going to hit him

I removed my 2 512mb memory sticks and settled for a 2gig kit and everything is running a lot smoother now. I was getting random crashes and really had me close to quitting. I have YET to get a single crash (unless its a server crash). Can't wait for 1.4, although it is already stable for me now.

Just played Road to Jalalabad. Lots of action but got some serious frame rate drops in some of the busy areas of the city. No CTD or server crashes so far.

None of the "populated" POE severs have 1.4 installed yet.
Guess I'll have to wait for them to update 🙂

I have already heard of a new exploit in this patch, something about a new twist to the old crouch hopping. I hope this is just rumor.

Is this going to be the last patch? They still need to fix the non-scrolling favorites list and add the ability to kick people from squads. Not to mention the claymores are way, way overpowered.
