34. Best feature in windows UI, you can load any of your commonly used apps in 2 clicks or less.

Can't believe how shite the new XP start menu was when they actually increased the time it takes to access stuff. Fvck knows where they get their design team...

It looks cleaner because you can literally have NO desktop icons. I don't get it either, it's totally stupid and unintuitive.

None, I use ObjectDock (and I have 13 icons, 16 if you count my clock, calendar, and weather docklets).

37 quicklaunch shortcuts, 12 shortcuts on the desktop

Because I'm bored, here are the visible ones
show desktop
winamp
my computer
dc++
firefox
ie
nestcape
epsxe
spybod s&d
adaware
tuneup utilities
eudora
ventrillo
world of warcraft
sims2
sim city 4

what's the point of quicklaunch when you have the magic windows key on your keyboard? if you need something in C:, open up "Windowsbutton" + R, and type in C: and press enter....so much faster

some apps, such as office apps, can be run straight from the run dialog, e.g.: to start word, you type in : winword
