It was WAY better than Skyline, I can't imagine anyone thinking otherwise.
(and Battlefield Earth was one of the worst movies ever, no doubt about that!)

Im glad i dont let other peoples opinions of things in life prevent me from enjoying it. Could care less what some critic whom i dont know in real life has to say about a movie. To each their own. I thought the trailer looked good enough to warrent me seeing it. So i will. It may suck or it may not. But at least i made my own choice and didnt let a random person turn me off from seeing something i thought looked like it could be good.

You shouldn't let random people's opinions influence you overmuch. A lifetime critic (or rather the aggregated opinion of dozens of them along with hundreds/thousands of compiled viewer votes) might actually be a reasonable metric which can reflect a film's worhiness.

But see it if you want, I'm going tomorrow.

546M gross, so it looks like they made profit. But yea, I didn't know it cost 260M to make.

It wasn't the original budget, it went way over and was plagued with production fuckups. It took 5 years to make or something.

WTF, Tangled cost 260 million to make?? It looked like a neat animated movie but how did they except to turn a profit with those costs?

By re-releasing it on DVD/BR every 10 years in new Super-ultra-remasted-delux directors cut Gold editions for the next 60 years, then a slew of new toys to go with it, along with overpriced 'collector edition' of the classic toys for the generation that sees it now to buy in 15 years.
They will more then make their money back. Disney has mastered the art of selling crap to kids, and making you be nostalgic about it years later.

Saw the movie last night. I rated it a 1.5 on a scale of 5. It was hard to believe it cost $100 million to make this piece of junk. Acting, scenery, aliens an plot were all 'subhuman'. Perhaps if I was a marine, I might have liked it. It's basically just another 'War of the Worlds' where aliens seem to be taking over the earth until one marine finds the 'secret' to killing them.

No. Was i supposed to? Or are you saying we should never watch anything to keep us from forming our own opinion on what was presented before us? Im glad you let critics and a website tell you want is good and bad. I mean it makes like so much easier when you dont have to think. If i went by critics id never see any movie with your logic.

My friend Jason saw it and he said it's worse than Skyline and worst part about it is Michelle Rodriguez  Save your money folks
