I have oil heat and a hot water tank, city water. The water is still hot like normal, but my heat won't actually come on. So I know my oil levels are okay..And I changed the batteries in my thermostat, and still nothing comes on. A friend said it could either be a pump, or a valve somewhere, I forget what he called them.
I just wanted to get some opinions to see if maybe it's an easy fix before I go call the furnance guy who's going to kill me with some $100+ fee just to look.
