ya, bonds is a tough call, most steroid users tend to break down quickly, bonds seems pretty durable when compared with the bash brothers.

I didn't say he bats well because of steroids, just that I think that that record is marred because steriods will increase the amount of homers.

Obviously he is in the top echelon of sluggers, even if he retired today, particularly since he had what many consider to be the greatest offensive season of all time.

I was just talking in terms of the HR record since that's what the thread is about, and he's still got two more years minimum to catch Aaron.
