I lived in Anaheim for three years. California politics are insane. Starting being able to gather a bunch of sour grape losers to have a special recall election which they knew darn well would only bring out the motivated base so they couldn't lose, to remove Grey Davis just because they did not like his policies. That law was created only to remove polititians for breaking the law and malfeasance. Second, related to the above, is the proposition system only requiring a simple majority, and a taxing approval system requiring either 60 or 66 percent (can't remember) to pass.

Third although people think california is a liberal state, the right in the state is very extreme so there is no middle ground. Thus the insane grid-lock in the middle of a crisis that requires compromise to solve the financial morass.

I was under the impression that all felonies are serious crimes, thus classifying them as felonies in the first place. 😵

The concept of the propositions is a good one...it gives the people a bit more input into their government...but it's very poorly implemented.
There needs to be wording that requires any new law to bring its own funding...instead of merely tacking those expenses onto an already overburdened general budget.

It's easy to get people to vote for new laws if they don't think it will affect their pocketbook...

This is a woman who knowingly withheld info about a drug lab tech who was siphoning off drugs for her own use and even after having this knowledge brought to her office she did nothing in regards to handing over this information to defense attorneys.

I won't bring out the Bologna family murders because that is common knowledge or the Issac Espinoza (former SFPD officer murdered on the job) stories. In both cases she refused to seek death penalty against the murdering criminals who were guilty as sin.
