Oh so the church will get sued for gender discrimination instead? What a brilliant f'ing lawyer they've retained. Pffft, I don't believe it for a second.
they aren't getting sued. there has been NO mention of a lawsuit. there is no gender discrimination at the church. as i've previously posted they have been quoted as saying over 50% of the church's board is comprised of women and over 80% of the sunday school teachers are women.

also in media interviews Ms. Lambert has said she knows there are other reasons for her dismissal. she declined to get into those reasons.
I didn't say there WAS a lawsuit, merely that they're exposing themselves big time by making the basis for her firing her gender. Which is its own issue regardless of their other hiring/firing practices. But I guess brilliant legal minds like you and the dumbass representing the church think alike? LOL.
this is the point where intelligent and logical discussion has ceased to exist.
you calling me a dumbass when i am just stating what legal advice the church had been given.

Were you in the room when they got the advice?
Were you?

Guess what Mr. DealMonkey... this is a local church. So go ahead and think you have the scoop more than i on what is happening in my community.

Well good for you, but you didn't answer the question. In any event, substituting gender discrimination for slander is hardly a legal strategy, hence my questioning of the church's attorney and his "abilities." In fact, it would have been far better for the church and the pastor to shut their mouths and say nothing at all. You don't have to have a reason to fire someone, you can simply fire them.
