Bannon is one of the fanatics surrounding Trump and has ties to Breitbart; a spreader of propaganda and fake news for Trump during the campaign. My expectation is that, if there was collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia's aid to his campaign, it came primarily from those surrounding him and wanting him to get the win - not Trump himself.

I wouldn't say it's not reasonable that, if there were collusion, he was in some way aware of what his subordinates were up to. But, I'd still expect if there is something to the collusion that it was primarily driven by the campaign members with the strong ties to Russia; Manafort, Page, Flynn etc.
 
Should have been Kushner in that position in the first place. Glad to see things are being straightened out at the WH.

There are still some jobs he isn't trying to do yet. I'm sure his schedule will free up once trade issues with China/Mexico/Canada are resolved, lasting middle east peace ensured, Iraq made stable, the heroin epidemic fixed, and the entirety of governmental processes made efficient through his innovation task force. He should be good by Tuesday of next week.

Security clearance is not security access and that's important to remember. If Bannon asks for classified material he doesn't just get it, he gains access from "need to know". McMaster would know how this works and if he has any ethics, which is possible, he can tell Bannon "no" or a more colorful equivalent.

Seems I was wrong. H.R. McMaster will probably now have the usual and customary roles of your typical NSA. I am not sure what Kushner is going to do after next week though, which is where he has scheduled fixing Israel / Palestine, that is the only reason I suggested him. He quickly clears his plate.
 
Well well well. I think if this keeps up by the end of his first year the training wheels can be abandoned and by his fourth year he will have become a raging liberal. We may even get universal health care.
