Wow, I didn't really believe it until I scrolled down but we're really on an alpha release now. No big deal though, what could possibly go wrong?
 
Still has the slow loading banner at the top. I hate that thing. It makes me not want to come here because it slows down browsing.

makes it damn near unusable on mobile

I've complained as much as possible without being a total dick and get the usual "we're aware and the ad guys are working on it".

It is unquestionably the worst part about AT forums. It's worse than all the hate, and this place has a LOT of hate!
 
I entered the wrong password after the update and it said I used my attempt quota and had to try again in FIFETEEN MINUTES. I thought I entered the right password. I was convinced this was an elaborate conspiracy to get rid of me once and for all, but they were doing it quietly, in a sneaky way. They would blame it on a technical issue. They couldn't let it go public. They knew ATOT would riot on my behalf. They sent me a new password. It worked.
