wow...the intelligence is amazing,

In a Gada Da Vida - Iron butterfly
hopefully the freebird post is a joke...i do love sarcasm 😛

both were. I have both in my CD collection (not mp3), along with Celine Dion, Stone Temple Pilots, Bass Mechanik, 2Pac, Yanni, Garth Brooks, Indigo Girls, and more.

I will say there probably isn't a band everyone likes, but for anyone to say there is absolutely not one song from any top band they like is: either trying to hard to hate or not listening.

I love music.

Jimmy Buffet is a guy I listen too only drunk and usually on a boat in the florida ocean....goes with the territory...

Stones...man people love to bash these guys too, but damn they have some songs that can take a totally mixed company crowd and 'start them up'

Jimi....all along the watchtower....such a covered song too....

QFT:
Mother
Tell your children not to walk my way
Tell your children not to hear my words
What they mean
What they say
Mother

Mother
Can you keep them in the dark for life
Can you hide them from the waiting world
Oh mother

Father
Gonna take your daughter out tonight
Gonna show her my world
Oh father

Not about to see your light
But if you wanna find hell with me
I can show you what it's like
Till you're bleeding

Not about to see your light
And if you wanna find hell with me
I can show you what it's

Mother
Tell your children NOT to hold my hand
Tell your children not to understand
Oh mother

Father
Do you wanna bang heads with me
Do you wanna feel everything
Oh father

Not about to see your light
And if you wanna find hell with me
I can show you what it's like
Till you're bleeding

Not about to see your light
And if you wanna find hell with me
I can show you what it's
Yeah

Not about to see your light
But if you wanna find hell with me
I can show you what it's like
Till you're bleeding

Not about to see your light
And if you wanna find hell with me
I can show you what it's like
Mother
Yeah

Many have already been listed, Beatles, then Elvis, then a bunch of maybes like Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel.

I'll throw Neil Diamond in the mix. Maybe Fleetwood Mac? SRV?

Everyone naming bands from the last 10 years can just stop. Those bands haven't stood the test of time yet.
