My fiancee was supposed to have a job interview today.

She jsut sent me a message on AIM:

her: damn
her: um
me: what?
her: i missed my interview. I thought it was at 11:15
her: it was at 9:15
her: and they won't give me another chance
me: That's not really surprising. I don't know how you forgot when your interview was in the first place.
her: grrr
her: thanks for the support
me: Well, it's 100% your own fault.
her: i'm going now
her signed off at 10:35:51 AM.

Was I supposed to be congratulatory or something?

Your lack of knowledge of women is disturbing,

You are sleeping alone for a while...
nice move...

That is too funny... You sound EXACTLY like my dear husband and your fiancee seems exactly like me!

You are a failure waiting to happen. 😀

fixed

Judging by your signature, I'd say you are the failure.

"Bitch I ain't know how you're going to pay for your dinner tonight, then. Free ride is OVER!"

Or something like that.

Give her the reigns and you'll get your sex... on HER time.

Take those reigns and give her one. Then you can both work together.
Reins...

Sounds...kinky! 😉

i agree you shouldnt have been a dickweed and said "sorry sweety i still love you" or anything like that, but there was no reason to be an a$$. you should apologize.

So everyone who's chastizing me then - what would you have said?

"Oh, that sucks, I'm sorry"?

Nevermind that we have to pay rent on two different places in july and are therefore kind of strapped for cash at the moment, and she's sleeping though job interviews.

you were right to say what you did, maybe your timing was off. she is at fault, she made the mistake. It happens, and she has to deal with the consequences (i.e. not getting another interview). I think she just wanted someone to listen to her, not tell her what she did wrong as she knew what she did.

no biggie. i would just tell her sorry for saying that at the wrong time. she has to agree you had nothing to do with her missing the interview.

Ahem, perhaps you should check out yagt.org 😉 😀

j/k

A little bad on the timing though.

Why didn't you call me to remind me? You knew I had that interview:roll:

Not that my lady would pull that.

at one point i would have said the same thing... but then i realized i needed to take responsibility for myself.
In all honesty, he should be upset, not at HER, but at the actions SHE did or did not do.
THats the difference.

When you get home, you oughta play the Offspring's "Why don't you get a job?" 😛

Yeah, I can understand you being upset, but you should probably bitch about it to other people and pretend to be sympathetic to her plight, even when it's her fault.
Have you learned nothing since the garbage disposal incident? 😉
Then again, some women are perfectly capable of dealing with a man who responds in that fashion, and if she's one of them, more power to you
