Bad karma is a bitch.

There have been no arrests. Someone did the public a service.

"Authorities say an emergency medical technician accused of refusing to help a dying pregnant woman during his coffee break was fatally shot near a New York City nightclub. Police say Jason Green was shot in the face near the Greenhouse club Sunday morning. There have been no arrests, and police believe those accusations and the shooting were unrelated.
Green and fellow EMT Melisa Jackson had been under criminal investigation for their handling of a distressed woman at a Brooklyn bakery Dec. 9. They were in line at the bakery when 25-year-old Eutisha Rennix collapsed. Witnesses say the EMTs told workers to call 911 and left without helping the woman, whose prematurely born baby also died.
The EMTs denied wrongdoing."

The mother of the pregnant woman who died:

Eutisha Rennix's mother Cynthia told the Post, "As a mother who has been through this kind of loss, I have to feel for his family. Even though what he did to my daughter was an injustice, I am sorry for him and, especially, for his mother." Her sister, Marva, added, "We thought what he did [to Eutisha] was inhuman. But he didn't deserve [to be shot]. You have to live your life right, because when you do wrong things, life has a way of bringing bad things back to you.

IMO. He did deserved it. Who wouldn't help someone in dire need when they are fully capable of doing so? Out of the gene pool.

that mother is a great human. most people should aspire to learn her peace and wisdom.

yea, because someone who doesn't help another person deserves to die...

I think every American citizen might as well just line up to get shot. I mean, just because the Africans are an Ocean away, doesn't mean we're not just watching them die.

🙄

We all protect our own interests first. The War on Terror basically sees to that. The money we spent on that, we probably could have built another New York City, San Francisco and Washington... IN Africa.

Obviously, no one knows the whole story. I don't know if the EMTs were called to another emergency. Who really knows enough to be the judge?

Worse than that. He wasn't some random guy, he was a trained EMT, and he may have been able to save two lives. Chose not to.

Maybe he didn't deserve to be killed, but I don't feel bad for him at all.

I don't know if you've read the articles when this incident occured but it was pretty cut and dry. It was in a public area and corrobrated by many witnesses.

if they're dying and die and you could have saved their life (as well as their baby's life), absolutely.

oh so you were there? can you give us more detail because the article is vague about the incident with the pregnant woman.

thanks!

yea, because EMT's are used to delivering premature babies with no equipment...
