they're $20 boots... sign of cheapness is the seam up the middle of the back inside... wear sox with a thick heel... i'm going to hang on to them, they'll be fine for cleaning up after the hurricane and slogging thru the mud for marching band stuff... they are nice and light...

Well I am not very happy

They change my order and charge extra without authorization

I order 2 pairs of boots and 2 pairs of socks for 60 with free shipping
Instead I got 1 pair of boots 2 pairs of socks for 55 which included a 9 shipping charge

Sent email and will be contacting CC if not made right

I still haven't received mine and am hoping I never do (now) as long as I am never charged for the stuff I ordered...

Price drop. The sizes that were $30 all dropped $10 so all the remaining available sizes are now $19.99. Of course the only remaining sizes are 15 and 7.5 and under.

---- EDIT

ordered - Sun July 30
arrived - Wed Aug 2 7:25 pm

Like the light color of the DS. Looked a bit narrow for a wide but fits fine and good support. My Rocky work boots a bit easier to get in and out of. Made in China. Took a chance and ordered two. If I had waited a day I would've saved $20. Includes a 20x16 bag. Coupon for free socks asks for sales receipt but no such paperwork in box.

UPDATE:

Well, they responded:

"Wednesday, August 02, 2006: WE HAVE ISSUED A CREDIT TO THE ACCOUNT DESCRIBED BELOW IN THE AMOUNT OF: $57.98.

Thanks for shopping at LA Police Gear, Inc

Have a spec-TACTICAL day!"

Now I just have to confirm they have indeed issued the credit...and hope I do not have to wait another 13 days!

It still sucks that they (over)charged me for it and never sent it...

Good luck to all the other who feel their order was incorrectly processed!

Mine came in yesterday. The product itself is obviously of a decent quality. Boots are solid, with lots of product feature tags (you might know what I'm talking about... you see about 12 of them attached to any new piece of high-end outdoor wear, Columbia Gore-tex, etc)

They feel comfortable. I will definitely use them for some rugged work, and even while out and about occasionally.

just got mine...like the color and LOVE the price.

These are the lightest boots I have ever used...not like some which feel like lead.

Would the small sizes fit my ten and a half year old son? Desert Camo boots would be a kick @ss way to go back to school.

Rats, I missed out. These would have been good boots to take to Iraq with me!

Nothing but teenie tiny sizes left, but that might be great for kids. Whats a mens DC4 compare to in a kids size?
