In about 5 minutes, I will be eating bacon. I can feel the happiness increase as the approach of bacon consumption gets ever-near.

Over the last year or so, I have migrated to cooking bacon in the microwave. Why, you may ask? After researching the various methods of bacon prep, I discovered a lot of support for microwave bacon, even Alton Brown is a fan.

for my microwave, I have discovered that 2 minutes, flip bacon, then 1:30 is the perfect method for achieving bacon somewhere between skillet-like crispy and chewy. This is while cooked on a melmac plate (it wasn't just Alf's home, you know)

please vote on your favorite method, and add details

I nearly committed suicide by bacon a few weekends ago. It would have been a good way to die.

Oven (usually broiler) or microwave.

All 4 you listed are the best bacon methods. It's bacon, all are equally best awesomest.

Also, ZIN - they make special bacon trays for microwave cooking and they work very well.

Skillet or griddle, medium-low heat, gently sizzling and slow-cooked to just done but not a bit crispy. This is IMO the best of all methods but it can take as long than 30 minutes.
