In flavor, appearance, and texture, Canadian bacon is closer to ham than it is to bacon.

Closer, yes. The same, no. Canadian bacon is a different cut, from a different part, with a different curing process.

damn this thread! after work yesterday i went out to the store and bought the necessary ingredients to make a b.l.t. never thought i'd see the day where a post on atot would influence my eating habits!
