Baby found dead in vehicle, van was parked at at father's work!

That is very sad 🙁 I've read about it happening before, too. That's how much the child matters to the parents I guess, they can't even remember to drop it off at daycare for someone else to watch.

<< "We will be giving the information to the Anoka County attorney's office and they will review the case and decide whether charges will be brought against this man." >>

This makes me sick. Should there be any question as to whether charges should be brought? HOw can someone be that irresponsible?

<< It's called a post-natal abortion. And it happens all the time!😀 >>

WTF!!:| Is that supposed to be funny.:|:|

Same thing happened here in Tulsa last summer. Some idiot drove to work with his kid in the car and just left him there. Of course it just happened to be on a day the temp hit about 115.

There is someone here right having charges of animal cruelty, reckless endangerment, and something else(can't remember the charge) for leaving two dogs in a car last weekend while they went shopping. Luckily a woman walked by, saw the dogs suffering, called the police, then the police got into the car and let the dogs out. The dogs are fine now but were taken to a vet because they were suffering from severe heat stroke.

People are just idiots....I think we should lock them in a car on a nice hot 110 degree day here in August. Let em see what it feels like.

Your f*ckin sick Howard.

I wish your mom would have done that to you.

As far as I know that there haven't been any charges brought against the mom in the Iowa incident and I find that appaling. (I live in Iowa).

There should atleast be child endangerment charges.

Its sickening when a parent can kill a kid, accident or not and get off without even a slap on the wrist.

What is this society getting to?

He prob left it there cause he couldn't bring it to work but couldn't leave it at home. He is either a evil person or a real dumbo. We hear all the time to leave the windows down for pets, why can't he connect that to a baby? I still wouldn't have left it there but I expect a certain level of inteligence.

That is really Fvcked up! get a clue!

some people doesnt' deserver to be parents. oh god..

I wasn't going to say it but I am going to anyway

WHAT IN THE FLYING FVCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

GFD!!!!!

How in the hell can you forget your own kids!! I don't care if it was an accident they should be jailed.

One HAS to ask themselves if someone is this damn stupid, do we really want their offspring to survive?

I know this sounds awful, but come on... Everyone here has called this guy a complete idiot. You have to wonder how bright his kids would be.

This form of post-natal abortion must be legal, because nobody ever gets prosecuted for it. Too bad Susan Smith or the Texas mommie didn't think of this first.

If they were smart they would not have had kids.

The same thing happened (Minni van and all) at my school a couple years ago. A professor didn't know his wife put the baby in the minni van. When his wife called to ask how the kid was doing, the guy ran to the parking lot right away to find his child dead.

This kind of thing might just be accidental but I don't buy that crap!
Bad fooking parents!! :|:|:|

I'm not condoning it but ease up people. Yes a kid is dead and that's terrible. If the guy did it on purpose hang 'em by his nuts.

But, it's also called human nature. If he wasn't use to dropping off the kid, he slipped into his old rut. I have two kids and forgot to drop my daughter (age 4) of one day. I had just dropped off my son at school and was taking my daughter to the daycare. Between the space of 5 miles and one exit, I'd forgotten she was in the car until she starting telling me we missed the exit.

I love my daughter to death (poor choice of words?) and wouldn't do anything to hurt her but in that small space of time, I was already dealing with traffic and the days problems. It wasn't my usual day to drop them off so as soon as I was back on the interstate it was back to my old routine.

In my case, I took the next exit and had to go all of a mile out of the way. Dropped her off and every thing was fine. Wasn't even running late.

If she had been an infant and was sleeping....who knows? I'm usually pretty good about looking around my car before I come in the office so I probaly would have notice. But how many of you honestly look in the back seat of their car before closing the car for a day.

As for charges being pressed, I'm torn. It was a terrible thing that happened and I would hate to see "I forgot" as a reason to get off if someone else read the case and wanted to get rid of their kids (very nasty but it could happen).
But do you send the guy to jail for life because his kid fell asleep and he slipped into his old pattern?

Before you say yes, how many of you forgot to get milk on the way home because you go the same way every day?
