You must not have participated much just a few years ago. At one time OT was hard to keep up with it was so fast. Sorry, but I remember the ATOT of five years ago, and like I said, it was bit more wild BUT it was a HELL of a lot more intelligent, engaging, exciting and FAR more active.
The new rules are insanely childish and the forum splits make posting an OT topic so it gets the most number of views and thus responses a pain in the ass and not worth it.
YOU may like the new rules, but obviously the silent majority do not, and have voted with their feet.
The squeeky wheels like you may be the loudest, but they are most often the minority. The greatly diminished activity level of OT proves this.

That must have been during the crazy wild west time when I thought it was not even worth my time to sign up here because of all the dipshit retards posting stupid spam posts non stop just to boost their meaningless post counts for a LOL good time. I finally decided to sign up here because of exactly the direction the MODs were taking the forums in, not vice versa. So your juvenile attempt at rationalization for turning OT and the rest of the forums back into a childish and unmanagable garbage catchall that can't be moderated properly fails utterly.

And I obviously liked the new rules enough that as a "silent majority" who never posted and just lurked here that I finally decided to sign up and post. I think the true "silent majority" never post or sign up here, and their traffic versus users logged in would obviously prove this. And even though I am now a user here, I still frequently do not log in just to read posts.
