Ayers relationship w/Obama

I'm a bit confused what to think about this Ayers guy - an admitted terrorist, involved in bombing a NY police station and the Pentagon, among other buildings - cleared of charges in 1980, now a teacher of some sort at U of I in Chicago....served on a board w/Obama, held a fundraiser for him...a few other connections..

The Wright story I can live with - he wanted to emphasize his non-Muslim religous practice, etc...

This guy is a different story - and by the way - shame on a US University hiring this guy to work with college students.

Are you voting for Ayers? Or making a weak attempt to tie him into someone else...

Because the game of guilt by association is quite fun and can be played by all...

\why so oblivious?

Its about judgement. Obama has a consistent pattern of making bad decisions, especially when it comes to whom he associates himself with, and whom he refers to as a close friend or even mentor.

Just because Barack Hussein Obama surrounds himself with people that hate the US doesn't mean that he agrees with them.

The same can be said of McCain. Take his support of the Iraq invasion for example.

UberNeuman, None of those are articles reference McCain himself. And none of them put human life in jeopardy. Those are stupid references.

Gotta love how people can even be taken seriously when they have HuffPo as their homepage.

You're not making much sense here. Topic is about Ayers, you counter it about McCain and far less associations with ex Chiquita CEO.

Are you saying you are outraged or not outraged?

My point is quite clear - Guilt By Association - the wonderful game that tends to keep being played among some people.....

His point is associations don't count with Obama but they count with McCain.

To save the thread from going waaaaay off course, I'll just say, even if you are correct in thinking invading Iraq was a bad decision, you still have yet to prove that McCain has a "consistent pattern of making bad decisions" like Obama does.

There are lots of douchebags amongst academia. Those who can, do, those who can't, teach. Or something like that.

But I don't see any real ties from what I've read. Democrats hang out with the douchebags from their party (bomb throwers and traitors), republicans hang out with the douchebags from their party (religious nuts and closet KKK'ers).

The Wright issue is evidence enough of his lack of judgment, Ayers is just another example of his lack of judgment.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. I'm a little sickened by this HuffPo article (which I got sucked into reading thanks a lot):

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...a-nation_n_119034.html

I know this scumbag has been on some conservative talk radio shows and tv, although I always dismissed Corsi as a retard before, I am sickened now.

Sorry for the offtopic

On Topic:

I don't really think there's much to Ayers, although part of me would like BHO be called to the carpet and at least explain shit like this. It could very well shut all the Republican pundits up.

UberNeuman, You still did not show that McCain did anything, just people that ALSO supported him. Again, STUPID argument.

I don't think you want to go there...
