avoid airport security harassment?

I think the security thing is overblown. I've never had a problem or have witnessed anything odd. Seems to be blown up by the media and people who think they're important and deserve some kind of special treatment. Just take off your shoes, walk through the gate, and go about your business.

security theater is ridiculous, waste of resources, ineffective, invasion of privacy etc. all true.

despite all that, you are only inconveniencing yourself. no one gives a f whether you fly or not. your protest is just for your own sake, is it really worth it?

given that you admittedly havent flown, do you really know what you are protesting against.

fyi, i travel multiple times a year, never been unduly harassed or witnessed as much. you are overreacting. (though yes, it all needs to go away).

That's what I've been doing for the last few years. I drive or train up to BC and fly in and out there, then drive or train back. No harassment, nice airport, etc. The 5 1/2 hour drive is well worth avoiding the TSA and stiffing US airlines who allow them.
