I love that gif.

Anyways, guess what I saw.

Avengers logo. Expected it, as he is parts of iron man suit, but it's still cool!

You make weird comparisons. I do not get your joke.
It is about fictional metal. The metals Vibranium and adamantium do not exist.
Titanium is not used.

But as a fan of comics when i was a child, i enjoy the movies and the discussions over the storylines and details.

Just trying to grasp the concept of a Marvel "super metal" by comparing it to a real "super metal", titanium.

I realize Vibranium and adamantium do not exist. I'm just theorizing (using my basic knowledge from one college structures class) that it might be possible for enough of 1 Marvel "super metal" might be able to break Captain America's shield, even though that shield can standup to any real life metal.

His shield is nigh indestructible.

The only times it has ever been destroyed/damaged, it was subjected to forces outside the norm of physics (i.e. magic shenanigans)

thx!

sucks that they nerfed cap's shield in the movies.

then again, they nerfed adamantium in the movies. (re: Wolverrine2 where his adamantium claws get broken by an electromagnetic sword.)

Wasn't that a tachyon blade that 'cuts' by displacing matter in time? You know, cause science.

Hell, Quicksilver is already being rented out so it only makes sense, and you need Spidey/X-men for Civil War.

You really don't need either of them. A mutant (Nitro) serves as the final straw, but you can change that to anything. Chances are that they'll use the destruction from Avengers 2 as their catalyst or something similar. Also, Peter Parker's main role is to be the first to out himself, but you can just change that to anyone else. Although, it has been rumored that Sony appears to be opened to allowing Spider-Man to "cross over", but apparently, FOX is not willing.

Also, no one licensed Quicksilver or Scarlet Witch. Apparently, there's some contractual mumbo jumbo that lets both companies use them. However, Marvel cannot use the term mutant.

who's the black chick in the cave looking thing taking a jacket or something off?

I'm so lost on all of these obscure characters of the Marvel universe now lol. I feel like half the time when I'm watching Shield I'm wikipeding who's who.

Anyone care to explain what's going on between Iron Man and Hulk?

To be clear, I haven't seen the trailer; however, I assume you're talking about the fight scenes (Hulk vs. Hulk Buster Iron Man) that were shown in the other two trailers. As much as I am tempted as hell to watch the trailer and get mega hyped, I found that I enjoyed The Kingsman a lot more because I hadn't seen a trailer. After seeing what the trailers encompassed, I'm glad that I didn't. I would've had some awesome action sequences ruined.

Anyway... this is more of a rumor, but I'll tag it anyway...

The rumor is that The Hulk has been "mind controlled" by Scarlet Witch (hence the red eyes), and that's why he's fighting Iron Man.

Technically there are a ton of OP characters in the Marvel universe. Prof X, Phoenix, Thanos can all just erase everything.

Thanos is the most ridiculous character there is.

He's way too overpowered/invincible.

The Thanos character has to be "rebooted" so that it shows that he can be tactically defeated without "miracles".

Silver Surfer could probably take him straight up, and he has a fraction of Galactus's power. Where Thanos is at is fine. Once you move to the macro scale everything should scale accordingly.
