Audioslave vs. Velvet Revolver

Audioslave destroys Velvet IMO. Although the new Audioslave cd is a pretty big let down to me... I think I might be too hard on it though because their first cd was so amazing.

Audioslave > Velvet Revolver x 10 million

Let down you say judgement? I absolutely loved the new Audioslave. Audioslave all the way

You guys are all wrong. I'm sorry about that. But its true. VR!!!! Slash > all other contemporary guitarists & Scott Weiland >>>>> Chris "I like it in the butt" Cornell. I've seen both bands, I've listened to both AS albums and the VR album, and there is no doubt at all that VR>AS.

And for the "sissified" comment, you clearly haven't really listened to the rest of the VR album. There is some hard sh!t there.

VR is so amazing live? I've seen them at a pretty small venue and it really is probably one of the best shows I've ever seen. Scott Weiland is a crazy good front man.

Audioslave is a good band, but there's something that just doesn't "fit" for me with their music. I can't stand it when Chris tries to cover RATM either?it sounds terrible.

/agreed

Check it out- CC does NOT mesh with RATM music at all. RATM was awesome and will always get play time for me. But its like they are trying to fit two vastly differnent and wholly incompatible music styles.

VR works. AS has gotten a lot more play time on the radio, and that may very well be the cause for the skewing on this thread, but if people really gave both bands a solid listening to, and more importantly, saw both bands live, the results of this thread and poll would be much different, I think.

Well i've heard Audioslave live, and its like getting three bands in one of course, Rage against the Machines + Soundgarden + Audio Slave.

Does Velvet Revolver =+ Stone Temple Pilots + Guns and Roses?

By the way, Chris Cornell can never sing like zack.

Audioslave may be "young", but the members all come from bands with amazing history:

Chris Cornell- Soundgarden
Everyone else- Rage Against The Machine

I'd take Audioslave over Velvet Revolver any day.
