<< No, I wouldn't put them in the same class.....but the blueprint is still a great sub. It has a BL factor of 21.....I'm almost positive that's higher than the Aura's. The driver itself weighs nearly 50lbs....strong frame and huge magnet
I know for a fact that the owner of BluePrint personally took a 1503 (little 15inch brother to the 1803) and pumped the crap out of it for a weekend using a K1 or K2 (I dont remember which, but likely the K1....which still puts off like 1500watts bridged)........

Also, the Aura's a shielded driver, isn't it?

Aura no longer sells them, Seismic Systems bought the rights to the Aura 1808 and have made major improvements to them including reducing the price. They still make the orignal version that Aura put out though I guess to have replacements for people needing them.

They have three different versions 8196 8196e and 8196H if I recall rightly.

Almost postive that it's shielded.

If TCsounds makes them then there probably really good, they have a reputation for making awesome drivers.

Actually I beleive the BluePrint's are assembled using parts from frcsound.com
Either way, they have incredible magnet strength, which is why they have such crazy Xmax's, and good efficiency.
The new adire Brahma's have a bit more Xmax, but have pisspoor sensitivity.......

Sometime in the future I wanna use some drivers from Lambda.....probably for a sub (what else? ;)) they're known for having great subs as well.
