Hey, I'm looking for some really great audio recording software that is very user friendly yet very powerful. Thought this would be the best place to ask. Thanks.
 
audacity is a good recommendation, expecially cause its free.

cool edit pro or adobe audition is really easy and a good program as well.

i use sonar by www.cakewalk.com it is a great program but may be overkill for your needs.

oh also check out N-track. it is a well designee program for a great price.
