Well, we've been officially informed that the R8 V10 isn't as good of a car as the new Vette. I guess it's time to sell your car for more than you paid for it and get a C8.

It's very similar to the Taycan. I've read the Taycan drives a bit better but the etron GT has a nicer interior and infotainment.

Great looking car in white. That price wasnt bad, figured it would be higher. Been out looking for RSQ8s, hard to find without 50K dealer markups that push them to near 200k. All of them say the markup is negotiable and I said great, negotiate it to 0 following by a click lol.
Ended up buying an SQ8 which arrives tomorrow.

dude! I have a perfectly great 4 year-old VW GTI that I could have swapped with you, all clean!
hey i have an S6 V10. he could have kept the same basic engine at least if he had traded with me! 😛

did you get a 'replacement' of sorts, or just reducing the car count?

Sold the car over the MSRP price I originally payed for it. Was looking at a Huracan and a 720S. Will instead let the money grow in my brokerage account while used car prices go down. Daily driver is a 2019 e-tron. Not a fun car, but it's good transportation.

Well, that didn't take long. Bought another one. The R8 is just a perfect car for me.

Suzuka gray with silver seats. Both look more white than what the names suggest. 2021 R8 Quattro Performance Spyder with carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber exterior/interior, and more upgrades. The RWD I had was a no option base model. This one is the opposite.

I was just kidding about the $160,000. 😱
It's all your fault. Thank you.

Actually, I had my eye on it since March. Dealership had it at over $230k back then. They kept lowering it over the months. They got it down to $210K a couple weeks ago. I told them last week that if they wanted to sell it right away, I'd buy it for $199K. They called me up today to make the deal. If I didn't buy it, they would have shipped it to somewhere on the west coast. They are making room for a '23 R8 GT. I asked if I could get the GT at MSRP. They laughed at me.
