Thanks!. The Hot Deals forum is also a good place to post this sort of thing if you haven't already.

A confluence of good deals on the CPU+mobo, GPU, PSU, and case this week! The price dropped so low that I upped the SSD to the 250GB in order to get it back closer to $1000.

mfenn I have a huge bonus coming from work in December. That is when we shall begin and complete the 4 PC LAN Play basement setup, via your recommendations. THANKS!

New build. The RAM shortage is affecting prices a bit, but since it only affect SK Hynix, that means that some of the more premium Micron DRAM is relatively more affordable. Thanks to Lehtv for pointing out the great TX650 and Arc Midi deals. I also kept the 250GB 840 EVO, but you could certainly drop down to the 120GB version to get the build well south of $1000.

New build, minor changes this week to the PSU, RAM, and SSD. The nice case deals keep coming though, swapped out the Arc Midi for the 400R, which is a great deal at $60.

New build posted. Some good deals on RAM and PSU bring the cost back down below $1000. The 7970 is going to dry up soon I'm afraid, and the R9 280X just isn't as good of a deal.

And so the traditional early-November price increases begin. New build posted, had to drop back to a 120GB SSD to keep it under $1000. The prior SSD recommendation (or the 250GB EVO) still stands if you want a bigger drive.

When do prices generally drop again? I want to order parts no later than the middle of December.

I didn't know this was a trend...maybe they do this to make black Friday deals look better?

Swedish prices are insane. I'll be buying in the states.

Are u going to be shipping to Sweden? If so I'd recommend buying from Germany, e.g mindfactory.de or hardwareversand.de priced through geizhals.de
