Open phone manual, read. The end.

It's a shame that manual to my telephone has information about how the phone works and not instructions on how to contact cingular's records/minute logs

Don't they show you how to check your minutes usage, how to reset it, how to manage the minutes and even how to add a calling card?

ahh, but there is a way to do it with your phone so that it sends a txt message to your handset, on verizon it was #646 (aka #min),

I would love to know if Cingular had a way to do this, too...

nah.. the only other way is to call 611 and navigate your way to the minutes used menu

Damn, sorry to hear this... alright, thanks =/

In a word, no. You clearly don't know what the rest of us are talking about. I suggest if you can't keep up with the conversation that you stay out of it.

Well, on my Nokia, if you go Menu > Call Log > Call Timers, there's a list including the duration of your last call, the total duration of your dialed and received calls, the duration of all your calls together, and the life timer, which shows how many hours the phone has ever been used.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but that's all I found. I'll ask my mom -- she used to work with Cingular.

just go to cingular website and log-in. It's easy to navigate to minutes used.

Yeah, I know where that is, but what I was looking for was a break down of my minutes used, i.e. mobile to mobile, night, and anytime minutes. I used to be on verizon and they would send a nice summary of the minutes used to me by pressing #646... I'm looking for Cingular's equivalent.
