What the hell are you going on about? Of course I'm not. And if it was some 3rd party it would be less offensive/worriesome, but because it's coming from Obama and his campaign that makes it that much more egregious.

You have to look at it this way - obama and his campaign actually thought this would be a good idea. THAT's what is so scary/wrong.

It may well be a daft idea but you equating it with the appearance of the stasi in the US is way more stupid.

Wow. So liberals still don't get it. It's not about censorship or any of that, it's about the president's campaign encouraging people to report others and what they said. Click on the damn site and click "report attack". Do you honestly believe Obama had no idea this was going on? It's his damn campaign! Do you not see the parallels to early communist russia or germany who had exactly the same programs?

I'm convinced liberals see nothing wrong with this site or the idea, it's obvious from the responses. It's who they really are to the core.

Disagreeing with you doesn't make one a liberal, it makes them sane.

Link detailing this is done at Obama's direction? Or is this just a case of you being for free speech as long as you agree with it?
I can see you channeling Glenn Beck and wanting to liken this as much as possible to early communist Russia, but so far all you've shown is you're enjoying an extra large cup o rage...

You are flat out lieing, that is not true. You conveniently glossed over the other type of "attack" they are encouraging and that is "rumor". You lie or didn't go to the site.
Yes dear, out of a list of a dozen or so types of attacks, "rumor" was only one entry, around the middle of the list, surrounded by choices related to public distribution. In other words, what I said was exactly correct. The focus is mostly on public distribution ... One could use it to report a fellow citizen, but you're outright lying when you claim that's what they are encouraging. I'm glad you agree.

I can assume from your post and all the liberals in this thread that you're just fine with this site and it's intent? Of all the forums I've been going around today and yesterday, this is the only one where you have people that somehow think this is OK, or a good idea. This place is worse than DU. Just look at all the twitter feeds, the site has become a laughing stock, it's quite a backfire really. Just like flag@whitehouse.gov.
All that proves is that you spend most of your day in an echo chamber with other extremist loons. My point in this thread was exposing your lies and mocking your hysterical ranting. I think the site was ill-considered because it is far too easy for people like you to twist it into something it isn't. There are more effective and less overt ways for the Dems to refute the right's incessant lies. Nonetheless, the site simply and factually does not compare to the atrocities of your Nazis and Commies, no matter how loudly you screech otherwise. The dishonesty is yours.

It is done on behalf of the Obama campaign assuming the credits at the bottom of the report page are correct. It's Obama for America which appears to be his official campaign though I haven't looked deeply.

Considering how Kerry was libeled by the swiftboaters and how people like Trump wouldn't accept a valid and legally issued Hawaii state birth certificate until Obama had to request of Hawaii that they sidestep their own laws to release his in a different form. I can understand why his campaign would feel a site like this is actually needed. But Spidey's fearmongering and trying to equate this to totalitarian regimes like Communist Russia or far right movements like the Nazis is indeed crazy.

A campaign sets up a site to put out information to counteract attacks and this is somehow a sign of North Korean dictatorship.

What is wrong with you people.

Dude. C'mon.

How paranoid and thin-skinned is Obama trying to sound? For Christ's sake, welcome to politics.

Dude. C'mon.

Exactly what I'm saying. C'mon people, this is insane even for P&N. A campaign website set up to have campaign supporters submit information so that the campaign can fight against it. This is about the least shocking thing ever.

And that campaign is being ran by the current head of our country, using his position to garner attention for it.

You're mad that the president is using his position as the president for campaign advantage? You're about two centuries too late on that complaint.

People from one political party strongly disapprove of the actions of someone from a different political party. I've never seen that before.

I agree, I'm shocked beyond belief.

Posting in a Spidey rage0thread.
