How come my scope/zoom (hold right mouse) doesn't always work?

Anyone else have problems remapping keys in this game? It seems really buggy. For the aircraft, I can't even get flairs/counter measures to even work. I have mapped the button on several keys on the joystick and also on the keyboard. Nothing seems to work. Also, a lot of buttons have dual functionality even though it is the only button mapped on all 5 tabs (foot, vehicle, heli,jet,common). Just seems really buggy.

Tweaked the settings to see if we couldn't get some quickmatch traffic. The results were...inconclusive.

Yes; mappings are still pretty messed up. I remapped interact/enter vehicle to "F", but to exit I still need to press "E." I've noticed various other key mapping issues as well. Hopefully they get cleaned up in the next patch.

I was only able to get to play on the AT server for a little while last night. It was always full.

What is a good not too pricey Flight Stick that works with BF3? There is no way I can win the tight circle battles and perform some CONTINOUS flight maneveurs with a mouse... I find myself losing to people with flight sticks when we try to get on each other sixes...

What's too pricey? This seems like a lot for the money...Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas Flight Stick. You can get this with just the Joystick for $30.

I haven't played all hours of the day, but when I get in to Battlelog, there always seem to be people on the Tugboat server. It seems to get more consistent traffic than most of the servers I have seen.

The server also seems less prone to pin/lag problems. Good choice on the host and location!

Do we really need to worry about getting quickmatch traffic? Maybe after a few months it will be more of an issue.

Switch to the secondary weapon with 2 or F2. Make sure to add the upgraded coax to the vehicle kit loadout before deploying.

Whoops, I knew the F keys were different. I think there's a weapon toggle too, but I forgot what that was. Right click only activates the alternate sighting (zoom, thermal).

You're right, of course. There's just something very appealing to me about having a server that's full all day, every day.

Thanks! Looks pretty good... I pretty much will only use the stick to replace the mouse movements/controls... I'm still planning to use the keyboard keys for throttle and elevator movements...

Flying circles and scissors trying to get behind the other jet's tail is a FAIL with a mouse because your mouse will fall off the computer desk - when I have to make mouse adjustments to continue the manuvers the other pilots are able to make gains on me and take me out...

I noticed there is a "Third Seat" unlock for tanks... pretty much you can jump into a full tank and use a third gun?!! = total of three people in a tank. I think AKWolverine almost have it unlocked...:ninja:
