I'm liking the way the server pages display. The assortment of settings is great.

You should be able to associate servers with platoons. That would be a fantastic feature.

Can you not add a server to your favorites until you start playing? I am at work right now and obviously can't launch the game here.

You can do it through Battlelog, just open the server URL and there is a slightly hidden 'add to favorites' button on the upper left.

Thanks for the tip. So I am supposed to be using battlelog.battlefield.com to do all my online BF3 business right? Sorry for the really dumb question but this whole battlelog/Origin thing is new to me. I am used to Steam or XBL just working. Now it's something new I have to learn. I was trying to use Origin.com for BF3 stuff but that clearly didn't work. Is Origin just for buying games?

Do I need to keep Origin running to play BF3 or can I just leave a browser open with Battlelog?

Yes, origin is for buying games. Pretty sure you'll have to keep origin up when running bf3, however I just start everything from battlelog and don't worry about opening origin separately. Curiously enough it's been doing the game check for me without having origin up, so I guess I'll find out for sure in roughly 3 hrs.

My username remains the same ;)

Can't wait to get playing

Edit - are we using native chat or a Vent server?
