Are people playing already!? I see that some of my friends are "In-Game", yet I keep getting cock-blocked at the "Release Date Check".

Yes a lot of people have been playing all day. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of level 5s and even levels 10s in the game once you join later.

Edit - are we using native chat or a Vent server?
I'm curious about this. Is voip limited to only the "party" you create or is it team-wide?

According to zh1nt0:
Voice over IP is also something new to Battlelog. This feature allows you to communicate with your Squad in the COM Center to really emphasize and get that teamwork going.
Makes it seem like it's limited to only 3 other people...

Battlefield 3 - Servers Not Showing up in battlelog
Oct 25 2011 00:30:51 by Killing

We're aware of an issue at EA's end which is causing some servers on certain machines not to show up in battlelog.battlefield.com.

The effected machines are: nyce301, wdce301, wdce302, wdce303, seae301, seae302, seae303, sjoe301, sjoe302, tore301, tore302, tore303, tore304

We have contacted EA about this and hope they will fix the issue shortly.

Meh. Our server is up and running but you can't see it via Battlelog and there is no way to connect via IP address as far as I know.
