Heh, my ex was very warm to the idea. Unforuntately the prototype was not available before she dumped me like a big, fat, wet turd.. Of course, such a trial run would be worthless because it could not be videotaped for legal reasons, and vital performance data would be lost. Damn being underaged.

I'll just leave that department up to the guys on the team that will be entering college soon.

I would invent DRM-restricted paper so that it could only be read by the buyer's eyes and would burn up instantly if re-sold or transferred. Also, copies would just produce jumbled up letters.

Of course, the original product would suffer quite a bit since the paper would be hard to read, but my intellectual property is so valuable that I believe I have to ruin it in order to sell it.

Also, I would charge a tax on all paper for the copying that could possibly be taking place.

I actually had a rather lengthy discussion with some of our offensive tackles and guards while the second team was practicing during football pracitce once on this very same topic. Our device is inherently different, in that it is external and actually exists. That would be like Iomega suing Mitsumi for making floppy drives because they compete with the zip drives.

Granted, that may well be where the inspiration came from.

actually, cases don't conduct appreciable amounts of heat - we went through this already with the steel/aluminum blather. its simply a matter of ventilation. in addition, there have already been a great many wood computer cases made by entrepreneuring souls.
