ATOT's stupid inventions

Sure, everyone wants to come up with a great idea that will make them independently wealthy, but chances are it's not going to happen. Great ideas like the Pet Rock are rare. But stupid ideas are much more common! What stupid, guaranteed-to-never-make-it invention or business idea (like the rattlesnake petting zoo) can you come up with? At least you don't have to sink your life savings into it only to find out later it was stupid.

My suggestion is two-sided playing cards.

When I was around 14 years old, I was seriously thinking about developing my idea. You know those two-wheeled hand carts you use to put your golf bag on at the course? It was basically figuring out a bracket with a universal joint to turn that cart into a trailer... for your bicycle. I was taking golf lessons at the time, had no car of course, and lived less than a mile from the golf course. Oh well. Now I just toss my clubs in the trunk and go.

I thought of an exciting new product for active Christians on the go. It's like a power bar, only the outside is made of little host wafers. The inside would be a capsule like those candies that are a tiny wax bottle that holds about half an ounce of a Kool-Aid-like substance, only it would have wine in it instead. That way whenever you need a quick blessing, or you just need to feel extra close to Jesus, or whatever, but don't have time in your busy schedule for it, seeking communion with the Lord is as easy as eating a candy bar. I almost want to turn Catholic just so I could eat these things. I just need a name and I'm all set. This is gonna be big!

Here is the idea I had that would make me millions. This is way before case modding became popular. My uncle owns a bigass kitchen factory. I asked him if he would be willing to make computer cases out of mohagony, being that computers were more and more becoming part of the living room furniture. How nice would a computer case look on a matching desk? He thought I was out of my mind. I may have been.

wood is a terrible heat conductor... and its not safe
